Delhi Brotherhood
As a parish we support the work of the Delhi Brotherhood Society, a Society of Brothers dedicated to benefiting the people living in the slums and settlements of East Delhi.
Its vision is to help people to realise their potential and dignity, and create their own destiny by making them self-reliant and independent. It provides practical help, such as:
- offering shelter and meals for street children, as well as a 24-hour call-center for children in distress,
- providing education,
- providing information and advocacy in the field of women’s empowerment and family relations,
- organising care for the elderly,
- assisting in capacity and community building in leprosy colonies.
They have successfully set up and are running over 20 programs. Visit the website to find out more about the Society and how you can help.
We always have a collection plate for donations to the Delhi Brotherhood Society at the back of the church.
