About Us
As a community of faith we yearn to draw close to God and to our neighbour. We do this through prayer, meeting regularly together to worship God, being fully involved in our community, and social action.
Our worship is centred around the Eucharist, which means that we receive communion at most of our services. Church services are relaxed and informal. Everyone is welcome and all are encouraged to become as involved in our church as they want to be. Children and young people play an important part in our broad family of faith. We are fed and nurtured by our worship and life together and this gives us the confidence to go out into the world to share God’s love with others.
Our church is situated on the Aberfeldy Estate in the Parish of Poplar. As a Church of England (Anglican) church, we are here for the whole community of Poplar – those of all faiths and none. We work very closely with our sister church All Saints, in Newby Place, which is the main parish church. You can find out more about what goes on at All Saints on the Parish of Poplar website.
To find out more about baptism, marriage, funerals or the pastoral care we offer please visit the Life Events section of this website.
If you would like to learn more about Christian faith, please visit our Daily Faith page, contact Revd Matt (our priest), or come along to church. You are most welcome.
